KENNET Ospreys trip to Bowsaw Lake was a fruitful one for Ian Jones, fishing pole and using a variety of baits 114lb of carp was the result.

Steve Shepherd caught 112lb of carp on pole and meat for second spot, Richard Burford utilised the method feeder and bomb for his even 96lb. Steve Hunt fished both short and long pole, using meat for his 89lb 14oz.

Twenty three fished and caught.

Adventure AS fished their most recent fixture at Watmore Farm, where Lloyd Webster banked 73lb 8oz of carp on the slow sinking waggler and pellet.

Mark Blackmon caught 68lb of carp on the pellet waggler, Graham Spiller also used the pellet waggler for his 57lb 12oz whilst venue expert Mark (red) Funnel could only make fourth spot on the slow sinking waggler and pellet with 56lb 12oz.

Sixteen fished and caught.

Basingstoke Railway Club went to Soke Road Lake last Sunday and Rob Carr (superstar) lived up to his name topping out with 65lb 8oz of carp on pole and pellet, John Hooley caught 48lb 8oz on pole and corn, yours truly managed 37lb 8oz on pole and paste for third spot.

Trevor Matthews netted 30lb 6oz. Fourteen fished and weighed.

Camrose AS were at Frobury Farm Lake Two last Sunday, where in form Tony Holdsworth caught 40lb 14oz of carp to top out.

Brian Orchard used a similar method for his 34lb of carp, Mike Ravenning took a pole and bread approach for his 23lb as did Chris Hopgood for 21lb 13oz. Thirteen fished and caught.

Oxoid AS were at Witherington Farm Inner Snake Lake for their latest match where Peter Lovegrove scored with 66lb 12oz of pole and pellet caught carp.

Leigh Punter put 42lb 11oz on the scales for second spot, followed by Pete Matthews who weighed in 26lb 14oz. Nine fished and caught.
