ODIHAM and Greywell started their campaign in Hampshire League County Division Two in superb form as they scored 300-6 in 45 overs in the opening win over visiting Ventnor II

Batting number eight Scott McGaughrin led the run charge as he smashed 56 from just 18 balls, hitting seven sixes.

Earlier, Kyran Munt (69) and Adrian Green (55) shared a century third wicket partnership, while opener Jontie Sebborn hit 53.

The visitors were then bowling out for 141 as Ross McGaughrin took 4-27.

Old Basing also started off well beating visiting Sarisbury II by 136 runs. The home side scored 281-9 with Andy Robinson (86) and Darren Turner (78) top scoring, while Nick Willcock (4-28) saw Sarisbury all out for 145.

Basingstoke and North Hants III's (193) lost by 36 runs at East Woodhay.
