THE Basingstoke Bison came back from 3-0 down to win 4-3 at Streatham on Sunday night, to maintain their 100 per cent start to their league campaign.

The home side took the lead four seconds into the first powerplay of the night, as Michael Farn fired in from the blue line.

The same Streatham player doubled the advantage at 18:18, to make it 2-0 at the first buzzer.

The home side's second powerplay of the night, saw them score a third goal from Ryan Webb at 33:15.

Just 27 seconds later, the Bison hauled themselves back into the contest, as Tomas Karpov scored with a top shelf finish, which was his 250th league point for the Herd.

The visitor's then reduced the lead to one goal, as Ryan Sutton scored on the powerplay to make it 3-2 at the second interval.

The Bison then levelled things up at 48:14, as Josh Smith poked the puck home.

The Herd then won the game, thanks to man of the match Smith's second of the game at 54:04, while Ivan Antonov picked up his third helper of the night.

The Bison are back on home ice on Saturday (6.30pm), when the Cardiff Fire are the visitors.
