TOTALLY Tennis A won the Basingstoke and District Tennis League Division One Men’s title they last held in 2010.
They remained unbeaten throughout the season beating their closest rivals Old Basing A 6-2 and drawing with Beechdown A in their final matches.
The Old Basing team finished in second place after beating Kingsclere A 5-3 and Hampshire Court A 7-1 with James Chamberlain/Ben Wilshere winning all their sets. Beechdown A beat Andover 6-2 to take third place with Tom Perkins/Jamie Duggan being unbeaten.
Goodworth Clatford A lost 6-2 to Kingsclere A and drew with Hampshire Court.
It was a very close run thing in Division Two, saw the top three separated by just the two points with Winchester A coming out on top.
Two 5-3 wins saw them home against Waverley A and Aldermaston A with Rupert Goodman/Matt Olive winning all their sets in the Aldermaston match.
Waverley A finished second after 5-3 wins against RSF B and Andover B.
They also beat Hook A 8-0 with a team of Malcolm McPhail/Steve Brown and Jeff Watson/Tony Vanderslott. Andover B finished in third place.
Odiham A were unbeaten in Division Three to take the title. They beat Beechdown C in their final match with Martin Gooding/Phil Askew being unbeaten.
Waverley B had an excellent season to finish in second spot. Their final match was a 6-2 win against Oakley B with John McKay/Tom Clist getting another maximum. Beechdown B came third finishing with wins against BDH 7-1 and Kingsclere B 6-2. Nick Goodall/Tim Williams won all their sets against BDH.
Just missing out on a top three place were both Kingsclere B and Preston Candover. Kingsclere beat Beechdown C 7-1 and Preston Candover beat Winchester B 5-3 in their final matches.
Another unbeaten team were Goodworth Clatford B in winning the Division Four title. They beat both Waverley C and Hampshire Court B 7-1.
Aldermaston B beat Odiham B 5-3 to secure the runners up place. Odiham B eventually finished in third place after an 8-0 win over Hook B with a team of Lynch/Moore and Allan/Gooding.
Sherborne secured a first and only win of the season with a 5-3 result against Hook B.
