ANDOVER took the Basingstoke and District Tennis League Mixed Division One title for the sixth time in a row.

They won comfortably losing just the one match. They beat Beechdown A 5-3 in the final match after a good 7-1 win against Overton with Claire Coomer and Jacob Webb winning all their sets.

Old Basing A finished in the runners up spot with their results including a 5-3 win against the champions.

Beechdown A finished in third place with Andrea Butcher/Chris Harrold leading them to a 7-1 win at Odiham A.

Unbeaten RSF A won the Division Two title and in their final match saw them draw at Aldermaston with Karen McKenzie/Dave Bull winning all their sets for the home team.

The RSF team did win 5-3 at Whitchurch with Rebecca Howard/Kevin Still getting a maximum.

Beechdown B were runners up with them getting a 5-3 win in their final match thanks to Jo Newell-Kochli and Phil Banfield winning their sets.

Overton B and Totally Tennis B finished level on points with Overton taking third place having won more sets.

Beechdown D claimed the Division Three crown and remaining unbeaten. They won 6- 2 at Whitchurch B and drew with Preston Candover for whom Judith and Richard Mole won all their sets.

Three teams finished on the same number of points in the race for the runners up spot. Hook eventually took it on sets won from Hampshire Court and Kingsclere.

The Hook team won 7-1 against Whitchurch with Ailsa Fraser/Graeme Mutch being unbeaten.

The Kingsclere team had an excellent 5-3 win against Hook in their last match and also beat Preston Candover by the same score with Graham and Alison Lockyer winning all their sets.

Simon Woodhall/Roberta Howard got a maximum for Hampshire Court in their 5-3 win against Hook.
