JOE Oates hit an unbeaten 109 as Basingstoke and North Hants became the first side to book a place in the Finch Group Guy Jewell Cup semi-finals, with a superb win over Rotherfield Park by 109 runs.
They will meet either Odiham and Greywell or Yateley in the last four.
The other semi-final, East Woodhay or Hartley Wintney will take on Old Basing or Hook and Newnham Basics A.
On Thursday evening Old Basing face Hook in their quarter-final tie at May's Bounty.
Results: Basingstoke 233-3, (J Oates 109no, C Jolley 48no, D Belcher 34, A Tapp 3-44), Rotherfield Park 129-6 (S Newens 36, J Paul 25, D Evans 25, A Neal 4-34).
