OAKLEY Junior School have had a remarkable cricket season this year, winning a hat-trick of titles so far.

Their successful journey started, early in the summer, when they were crowned Basingstoke champions.

This qualified them for the county finals, which were held to Winchester's St Cross ground.

Once again Oakley beat everyone and finished triumphant as the beat Brockenhurst in the final.

The Hampshire champions then moved onto the South West Regional Finals at Clifton College, Bristol.

The team have performed magnificently and have been superbly supported by their parents. The school is very proud of them all.

The winning team was made of Savindu Sapumanage, Josh Carpenter, Neil Shelar, Matthew Benke, Alfie Butler, William Benke, Noah Beckell and Grace Shephard.
