BRADLEY Sutton enjoyed a great start to the year as he finished fifth in the National Tetrathlon Open Men’s competition and was the first junior home.

This followed on from his senior debuts in Budapest and Berlin.

Sutton then travelled to Prague for the Milan Kadlec Junior Memorial finishing ninth in a strong field from Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Mexico, Italy, Turkey and Portugal.

This is a great result for Sutton returning from a shin injury and struggling with a damaged pistol.

Then in the National Men’s Junior Pentathlon at Bath in the first weekend of June and he was first in the swim, had a good steady fence, and had only one pole down in the ride.

He recorded a personal best in the combined event now known as laser run to finish second overall.

Next is the Junior Europeans in Barcelona in July and the Junior Worlds in Hungary a month later.
