TWO shorthanded strikes helped the under-20 Bison to a thrilling 4-3 victory at the Solihull Barons.

Having conceded a shorthanded goal the Herd hit back as Sam Brooks netted assisted by Sam Compton and Oscar Evans.

The Barons took the lead again after the break, but Brooks shorthanded levelled things.

Two minutes alter, Jack Standing with another shorthanded goal made it 3-2.

Solihull tied the game at 52:02, but the Bison were not to be denied as Brooks completed his hat-trick as Paul Petts picked up his third assist of the game.

The under-15 Bison hammered Swindon 9-0 as seven players found the back of the net.

Emily Harris opened the scoring assisted by William Birch, one of three assists. Samuel Stephens then added a second before the first buzzer.

The home side scored five more goals in the middle session started by Alexander Smith. Charlie Wedge then netted a brace in the space of 25 seconds, before Oliver Bower and Harris with her second finished the period scoring.

The Bison added two more goals in the final session as Cain Russell (shorthanded) and Travis Penny netted.

Sam Childs and Kayla Poole shared the shut-out.
