OSCAR Evans scored a hat-trick as the Basingstoke under-20 Bison won at Oxford.

The home side opened the scoring, but Cameron Buckle assisted by Sam Compton and then a brace from Evans with helpers from Josh Richards and Bradley White had the Herd 3-1 up.

Oxford pulled a goal back with the only goal of the second session.

The Bison then won the final period 3-1 thanks to a trio of powerplay strikes from Jack Standing, Evans and Paul Petts.

The under-18 Bison drew 5-5 at Chelmsford as Buckle scored the opening goal at 22:51.

Compton made it 2-0, before the Essex side levelled things, but the Herd were not to denied the lead at the second break as Christian Han scored.

The final period saw Chelmsford take a 4-3 lead, before Evans and McCormick assisted by William Pratt made it 5-4. Chelmsford tied the game with 19 seconds left.

Two goals each from Peri Edmiston and Aniko Gaal helped the Basingstoke Bison Ladies won 4-1 at Solent Amazons.

Edmiston scored the first two, the second assisted by Elizabeth Winstanley and Elise Willoughby.

Gaal netted the next two converting a Kay Fisher-Carrington pass for the first.

The under-13 Bison enjoyed a thrilling 4-3 win over Milton Keynes.

The young herd conceded after 59 seconds and it was 2-0, before Cain Russell and then a shorthanded strike from Harry Brooks assisted by Zachary Taylor tied the game.

MK took the lead again, but Russell equalised and then Hudson Friday scored the winner.

William Birch scored a hat-trick as the under-15 Bison beat visiting Slough 7-0 with Sam Childs recording a 17 shot shut-out.

Birch opened the scoring, followed by a goal from Travis Penny who finished a move involving Russell and Samuel Hemming-Maher.

Emily Harris made it 3-0 at the first break assisted by Samuel Stephens.

The Bison's fourth was a shorthanded strike from Oliver Bower.

Harris made it 5-0 with a pass from Oliver Reeves and Birch made it six before the second buzzer.

Birch completed the scoring with hat-trick strike, the only goal of the final period.
