HOOK and Basingstoke United are only two surviving teams in the Hampshire Saturday Junior A Cup and they will now face each other in the last eight with Hook at home.
Basingstoke United won at home to Aldershot visitors Traco Athletic 2-0, this was after the visitors blazed an early penalty over.
Joe Cook scored United's opener and Cullum Chillcott’s corner eluded everyone for the second.
Hook beat Basingstoke Athletic 7-1 after a tight first half.
Athletic’s Matt Stillwell had a shot cleared off the line, before James Lowton gave them the lead.
This lasted just six minutes, before James Neville equalised. Just a minute after the break Hook led from Andy Parker’s volley and they scored a further five times from Parker, an own goal, Dave White and Parker’s hat-trick strike.
Twentyten entertained Upham Reserves and are still in shock after losing 1-0 to a 70th minutes after the visitor’s were reduced to nine men after 55 minutes.
Basingstoke Royals lost 1-0 to West Totton and Tadley Calleva A were beaten 2-0 at Compton.
