BASINGSTOKE Town take a break from league action on Saturday when they start their FA Trophy campaign on Saturday, with a trip to Wheatsheaf Park to face Staines Town.

The Dragons will hope to recapture the form which saw them crush league leaders Slough Town last weekend, after they suffered another midweek loss at Chippenham.

Staines are currently mid table in the Ryman League Premier Division which is the same level as the Dragons.

The Swans snapped a five game losing streak last weekend with a 3-2 win against Met Police.

They nearly won on Tuesday night at Folkstone, before the Kent side scored a late equaliser as the contest ended 1-1.

Town manager Terry Brown has a growing injury list ahead of the game, but will hope his young chargers will bounce back to winning ways.

Brown said: "We want wo win every game we play. It would be nice to return to the way we played against Slough and book a place in the next round."
