DC UK are expected to be one of the favourites to take the Basingstoke and District League Division One title and came back from 3-1 to win 6-3 against Twentyten with five second half goals.

Twenty Ten's new signing Danny Vallance netted a hat-trick in the first 45 minutes, with DC's lone reply coming from Jamie Ballantyne.

Second half sub Shaun Searle made the difference, as Zac Reynolds made it 3-2 after a minute after the re-start and Lorne Howard equalised. DC then struck three times in the final 10 minutes from Ashley Elward, Ben Nicholls and Stuart Austen.

Newly promoted Basingstoke United are the surprise package so far and beat visiting AFC Aldermaston Reserves 2-1.

Aldermaston took the lead after 41 minutes from Tommy James' free-kick. United levelled seven minutes after the break from Joe Cook.

Cook then hit the bar with a volley, before he netted the winner, after the Aldermaston failed to deal with Gus Reis' long throw.

Hook managed to pick up maximum points beating visitors Basingstoke Athletic 1-0. Athletic played well and really should have taken the lead from Ryan Evans, but his lob went wide.

Both Andy Parker and Sam Barker forced very good saves from the Athletic goalkeeper Luke Allison.

The winner came on 80 minutes, from sub Dan Mellors' free-kick after he had earlier hit the post.

Basingstoke Royals won again at Bounty United 3-2. The home side took the lead after 25 minutes with a sweetly taken free-kick from Craig Williamson.

After several good saves from the Bounty goalie Richie Vinn, he was beaten by a deflected shot from Mark Horton, in off Sam Hicks. Further goals from Royals' Scott Harney and Brendon Vickery made it 3-1, before former Sherborne winger Alex Izzo managed a second for Bounty.
