BASINGSTOKE Town Spades still head the Whitchurch League Division One despite having a bye week and now Oakley Buzzards have moved into second place following their win against Littleton Leopards 59-34.

Howard Park drop to third even if they beat Hyde Abbey A 60-51. Old Basing Cavaliers have jumped to fourth following their rearranged match win over bottom team Alton 49-42 and a victory over Andover B 47-43. Kingsclere Quails just beat Alton 33-28 in the other match played.

Division Two leaders Andover A had a comfortable win at Marnell Blues 76-34.

Whitchurch Yellows won at Littleton Lemurs 54-38 keeping up the pace, but both have played two matches more than Town’s Diamonds. St Mary Bourne Hawks beat Hook Hares in the other match played 48-39.

There were only three matches in Division Three, Old Basing Roundheads beat Andover C 65-39, Oakley Kingfishers overcame Town’s Jokers 60-34 and Howard Park C in a rearranged match saw off Hook Foxes 65-48.

In Division Four, Oakley Woodpeckers lead the division after just beating Thornycroft 47-44, Marnell Greens beat Kingsclere Pheasants 58-47.

Bottom team Littleton Lions recorded their second win of the season against Oakley Kites 50-30, Friary beat Howard Park B 43-27 and St Mary Bourne Merlins enjoyed a 51-40 victory against Old Basing Royalists 51-40.

The BDBA League leaders are still Oakley following their win against Howard Park 71-57.

On the same points are Alton Social who beat Kingsclere 79-41 and have a game in hand.

Town beat Old Basing 70-50 and surprisingly Andover beat Whitchurch away 69-52.

In Division Two unbeaten Alton are top following their win against Oakley B 73-49. St Mary Bourne beat bottom team Thornycroft 71-51 and Hook overcame Town B 65-45.
