IT HAS been another great season for Whitchurch United Youth under-nine side who play in both the Peter Houseman and Testway Youth Football Leagues.
The team reached the semi-finals of the Testway Oak and Lion Cups and were runners up in the Ice Ladder.
In the Peter Houseman League, they reached two semi-finals in both and winning a fair play award.
Talking about the coaching team’s philosophy manager Scott Flitter said: It is to give back to football what it has given to me and past generations. To enable the youngsters today to have a passion for playing football, the correct way and with great team spirit. It is hugely satisfying to see their accomplishments and feel pride in the success they achieve as a team.”
Whitchurch are proudly sponsored by Albright International and Kevin Holland of their sponsors said: “I think that what you are all doing by way of coaching and organising the football is very commendable and I know from my past, whilst hard work, it is rewarding and great fun’ If you interested in joining team, please contact the team at wuyfcU10@gmail.com
