BASINGSTOKE and North Hants will be looking to take another leaders scalp when they travel to north Hampshire rivals Andover in the Southern League Division One.
The title race is really hotting up and victory for Bountymen would see them very much in the mix as the season enters its final weeks.
However, away from May’s Bounty, their form has not been very good and skipper Mitch Stokes knows his side will be tested to the full.
Stokes said: “They are a good side and have been going well this season. Their deck is very flat and at the moment this division is wide open and I don’t think it will be decided until the last two weekends. At the moment we have to take it one game at a time and try and get ourselves into a good position as the campaign closes.”
Basingstoke, who are fifth in the table, make one change to the side which beat Romsey last weekend, with Brad Neal returning in place of Steve Bucksey.
When these side met at May’s Bounty, earlier in the season Andover reached 89-3, before the heavy rain saw the game abandoned at four o’clock.
