DARREN Turner scored an unbeaten 122 which was his third century in his last four Finch Group Guy Jewell Cup innings, as he helped Old Basing to a 73 runs victory over Chawton in the first round of the competition.
Turner finished on 122 not out as the village side made 201-3 from 18 overs and then restricted Chawton to 128-5.
The first round games continue at May’s Bounty on June 2 when Rotherwick ITW face Oakley.
