BASINGSTOKE and North Hants will be looking for an early season double when they travel to Totton and Eling on Saturday, for their latest Southern League Division One encounter.

The Bountymen won on their last visit to the Southern Gardens at the beginning of this month in the National Cup.

The visitors cruised to a 164 runs victory, as Craig Williamson (88) and Chris Jolley (62) lead the run charge which saw the Bountymen score 277 from 45 overs.

They then bowled the home side out for just 113 with Stokes (7-24) in superb form with ball.

Totton are currently bottom of Division One, having lost both their first two league outing being bowled out for 172 and 178 chasing 243 and 263.

Basingstoke make one change to the side, which played on Saturday's abandoned game against Andover.

Seam bowler Graham Porter returns in place of Chris Chandler, who will return to captain's duties for second team.

Looking ahead to the game Bountymen’s captain Stokes said: “It is a really nice ground to play at and having won there already I am looking forward to the game.”
