A BRACE of goals from James Tennant and Brett Denham helped Tadley Calleva keep up their Wessex League Division One promotion push as they beat Ringwood 4-2.

The home side were quickly out of the blocks as they scored in the first minute, as Tadley goalkeeper Tom Hindmarsh rolled the ball out to Tennant and he took it the length of the pitch to score.

The lead was doubled by the break, as Denham opened his account in the game.

Ringwood pulled a goal back with a cross cum shot, but Tennant restored the two goal advantage.

The visitors once again replied, but Denham with his second of the game made sure of the victory.

This leaves Tadley third in the table on 62 points with four games to play, while second placed Amesbury are on 73 points with two to play, which are against champions Portland and Tadley on Saturday.

Before this Tadley are in action tomorrow night at home to Totton and Eling and then Thursday night they are away at Hythe and Dibden.
