Loddon Vale wrap up the winter season with a couple of wins
BOWLS: Loddon Vale wrapped up their winter season with a couple of friendly wins.
In the first they enjoyed a 123-114 victory over Bannister Park. The winning rinks were skipped by Jeff White (28-10) and Steve Shaw (31-14).
The losing rinks were skipped by Steve Devonish (20-19), John Holmes (24-23), Paul Knowles (22-10) and Dave Holmes (24-12).
The following day they beat the Whitchurch League 118- 115. The winning rinks were Stuart Bone’s loaded rink (36- 8) and John Holmes (22-13).
The losing rinks were Alan Phillips (21-19), Ian Laming (21-16), Sheila Girle (25-13) and Tom Atkins (27-12).
Attention now turns to the outdoor season which will start next month.
