BASINGSTOKE Bison will be looking to make Sunday evening a night to remember, as they will presented with the English Premier League league trophy after they clinched the championships last weekend.

The Herd claimed their first league title in 23 years with a thrilling victory over the Swindon Wildcats and it sparked wild celebration at the Basingstoke Arena.

The Bison wrap up their league campaign ahead of the play-offs, with a trip to Milton Keynes on Saturday, before a home game against their local rivals the Guildford Flames on Sunday (5.30pm).

This game is expected to be a sell-out as the Herd will be presented with the league trophy and winners medals.

This is the Herd's final league game and it will be the last league game for the Herd's top British forward Joe Greener.

The Basingstoke-born forward the club's third highest British goal scorer is moving to America and has been a big part of their success in recent years.

Bison head coach Doug Sheppard said: "We want to make Sunday night a great celebration for Joe. He is a complete player. It is great he is leaving us as a champion and we wish him all the best in the future."
