LONDON Irish are now bottom of the Premiership after they lost their fifth straight game 33-15 this time against Wasps at Twickenham.
In a close opening 40 minutes, Wasps led 11-8 at half-time after Frank Halai scored a try, while the Exiles’ Johnny Williams also went over.
Elliot Daly extended the Wasps lead after the break with another try, before Williams went over again.
Wasps pulled away in the closing stages of the game as James Young and Halai scored again.
Irish will hope to break their winless run in the league, when they travel to Harlequins this Saturday.
