THE BASINGSTOKE Buffalo will look to emulate the Bison on Sunday (6.30pm) and book a place in their cup semi-finals with victory over the visiting Peterborough Islanders.

The Buffalo warmed up for the game in perfect fashion by winning 6-0 at reigning South West Two league champions the Bristol Pitbulls.

The visitors took just 14 seconds to open the scoring as Hallam Wilson struck assisted by Graham Bellamy and man of the match Ryan Sutton.

By the first buzzer the Buffalo led 3-0 after Dan Lackey netted and Mark Pitts converted a pass from Neil Leary.

In the final period the visitors added another three goals to their tally as Sutton scored either side of an Ashley Skinns powerplay strike.

Paul Petts picking assists on both Sutton goals and netminder Jordan Lawday produced a very impressive 33 shot shut-out for the team.
