OVERTON RFC were unable to get the better of high-flying Romsey in Hampshire Two on Saturday.

Hosts Romsey, who sit second in the table, won the game 30-8, a result that leaves Overton eighth, with three points from their opening three games.

They are due to make the short trip to Kingsclere this weekend, but struggling 'Clere were forced to concede their last fixture, a trip to table-topping Alresford.

Chineham Lions had a free week in Hampshire One. They return to action with a trip to Didcot on Saturday.

Tadley Tigers return to Berks, Bucks and Oxon Premier action after a week off looking to maintain their 100 per cent record with a win over visiting Crowthorne.

Aldermaston were also without a game last week. They travel to Didcot in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Championship.
