SOUTHAMPTON director of football Les Reed said the club's transfer window went to plan.
He told the club's website Saints started their business when the window first opened and were pleased to complete so many deals early.
He said: "We planned it very, very early. We did all our research and got started on the business as soon as the transfer window opened and managed to complete most of them very quickly.
"It's a great feeling to finish without any panic or frenzy."
