A 40-YEAR-OLD man was due in court today in connection with the death of a father found fatally injured near a garden centre.
The man was expected at Airdrie Sheriff Court after being held by police following the death of Andrew Best in June.
Mr Best, 44, known as Drew, was found with serious injuries on the access road to Dobbies Garden Centre, Cumbernauld.
He died a short time later in Monklands General Hospital.
Last week John Maguire, 23, of Brora Street, Glasgow, admitted the culpable homicide of Mr Best.
He had his sentence deferred.
