PARENTS in East Renfrewshire are being given the chance to get more involved in their child's education.
Education chiefs and heads will ask them for their views on new parent councils, which the Scottish Executive are introducing to replace school boards by the new term.
Councillor Eddie Phillips, education vice-convener, said: "We'll shortly be telling parents why it's important for them to become involved."
