JUDGING by Paul Cooney's face, right, you might think that the bailiffs had arrived at Radio Clyde back in 1983.
In actual fact, they had paid their electricity bill, but Paul was trying to keep Clyde's newsroom on air while the removal men stripped the studio of equipment for the station's move from the Anderston Centre to their new premises at Clydebank.
Little did Paul think when the station went on air on December 31, 1973, that not only would he end up being one of the most familiar voices on radio, but by 2007 he would be the station's managing director.
