LONDON Irish recorded their biggest Premiership victory of the season as they won at winless London Welsh 50-12.
The visitors took just 30 minutes to secure the bonus point try thanks to scores from Alex Lewington, Tom Fowle and a brace from Shane Geraghty, Matt Parr and Andrew Fenby helped Irish to a 38-7 half-time advantage, after Jason Tincknell had scored for the home side.
After the break, Lewington scored his second try of the match, only for Taione Vea to reply for the Welsh.
Lewington then went over for his hat-trick score as Irish enjoyed their best day of the season so far in the Premiership.
They are in action again on Saturday when they are away at Harlequins (kick-off 3pm).
