SAINTS striker Graziano Pelle is up against one of the greats in world football for an award.
The forward is in the final three for Senior Men's Italian player of the year.
He faces competition from Andrea Pirlo and Matteo Darmian.
Italy Head Coach Antonio Conte: “Pellé has shown consistency and desire to take his chance. He left Italy when he was young and picked up his first cap aged 29-30.”
Members of the public can vote for the award until New Year's Eve on the Italian FA's website.
