AFC ALDERMASTON came back from 2-0 down to level things in their latest Thames Valley League Premier Division game, only to lose 4-2 at Hurst.
The home side led 2-0 at half-time, but after a team talk from boss Terry Rooney, his side forced their way back into the game just before the hour mark, as Mike Lewis headed home a cross from Oscar Manjengwa.
With 20 minutes to go, Aldermaston levelled things thanks to Liam Tackley and they looked set to win the game.
However, as they pushed forward the home side scored twice to win the game.
Aldermaston have no game this weekend, Meanwhile, Aldermaston’s reserve side opened their Thames Valley League Division Four campaign with a 2-1 win over Unity Reserves last weekend.
