The Saints Disabled Supporters Association are holding their annual open day at St Mary’s Stadium tomorrow.

A host of big names, such as Matt Le Tissier, Lawrie McMenemy and Dave Merrington, are due to be there supporting the event and meeting visitors.

The afternoon will run from 2pm until 6pm in the Dell Cafe, located on the Kingsland Stand side of the ground.

As well as the guest appearances, there will be magicians, music and a summer draw – featuring prizes such as a signed Saints shirt, a pair of match tickers and a 40” LED TV.

There will also be a limited number of free short stadium tours available.

Delighted to note the involvement of venerable names such as Le Tissier, Merrington and McMenemy. Seems they are welcome again at St Mary's along with red and white stripes.

Tony in Liberia says...

Years ago, there used to be a taxi drivers' day out for disabled kids at Poultons Park, and loads of Saints players used to go along. It was a fantastic day, and I know from personal experience how much the kids loved it.

Would be great to see a few of the current squad supporting this event. If anything says 'family club' and 'the Southampton Way', this would be it. As would a good turn out of fans.

What's the bet though that Glenn Hoddle doesn't get an invitation... ;-)
