HOOK and Newnham Basics won an extraordinary low scoring game at King George V Playing Fields to keep alive their hopes of avoiding the drop from Southern League Division One on Saturday.
In the Hook innings, Gary Binns top scored with 20, while Derek Manning (5-35) and Nick Wheeler (4-23) did the damage for Hursley, in a rare low scoring game at the ground.
Hook finish their season with a massive trip to Andover this weekend.
