HARTLEY Wintney will have to complete the double over Calmore Sports if they are to keep alive their hopes of promotion from Southern League Division Two.

The village side’s push for a straight return back to Division One has come off the rails in recent weeks and they have slipped down to fourth in the table.

However, the promotion will become much clearer after this coming weekend as the top four all play each other.

Leaders Rowledge entertain second placed Sparsholt, while Calmore travel to Hartley.

Wins for both the home sides will set-up a very interesting final weekend which will see Hartley travel to basement side Totton and Eling II, while Sparsholt entertain Langley Manor and Calmore will have a visit from Ots and Romsey. Of the top four only Rowledge are away at Paultons.

So a repeat of Hartley 31-runs away win at Calmore would do very nicely for the village side.
