TADLEY Calleva manager Danny Dolan was proud of his players, despite them losing 4-2 against visiting Ascot in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round.
Dolan said: “I could not have asked for more, their attitude was spot on for the whole of the game.”
Six minutes of madness cost the home side dear as they conceded two goals to trail 3-0.
Ascot then scored a fourth before Tadley hit back, thanks to goals from Jason Kingston and James Tennant.
Dolan’s men are next in action in the Wessex League Division One on Saturday away at Team Solent.
Tadley will be without Ben Wickens who suffered an ankle injury just 20 minutes in Tuesday night’s game and looks set to be out for a few months.
