ROPLEY will face Basingstoke and North Hants in the first of the Finch Group Guy Jewell Cup semi-finals at May’s Bounty tomorrow.
In the quarter-finals last week, Ropley beat Stratfield Turgis by 112 runs in an 18-over game.
The winners batted first and scored 200-4, thanks to Howard Biddle (97) and James Forrest (34).
Stratfield made 88-8 in reply, with Dan Reynaldo scoring an unbeaten 23. Will Stennett took 4-10.
Monday night’s Plate semi-final between Rotherfield Park v Oakley was washed out and the teams will try again tonight.
On Monday, Ramsdell face Sherfield-on-Loddon in the other Plate semi-final.
The following night, Yateley face the winners of tonight’s game between Old Basing or Odiham and Greywell in the second Cup semi-final.
