OVERTON United endured a nightmare start to their Hampshire Premier League campaign, losing 6-0 away at Baffins Milton Rovers on the opening day of the season.
Chris Lavisher had an early chance for the visitors but it was Baffins, who won the division last year, who took control, scoring two goals in three minutes.
Things got worse for Overton when Matty Bennett was shown a second yellow card on 43 minutes and they conceded a further four goals after the break.
Manager Titch Bloomfield will be hoping that his side fare better tomorrow night, when they travel to Otterbourne.
