AFTER leading Tadley Calleva to fifth place in Wessex League Division One last season, manager Danny Dolan is hoping to finish even higher in 2014-15.
The Barlow’s Park side have managed to hold on to all of the players who helped them to a top-five finish last season, with Dolan adding three players to his squad over the summer.
Former Whitchurch United goalkeeper Tom Hindmarsh, left-back Guy Farrier and winger Ben Wickens have all signed for Tadley.
Dolan is excited about the new campaign, which gets under way on Saturday, with Tadley hosting US Portsmouth.
“I am really looking forward to the season and am hoping that we can improve on what we achieved last season by breaking into the top four,” he said. “Every game is tough, but if we show the same attitude we did at the end of last season and take the momentum into this campaign, we should be fine.”
