EMMA Croker wife of the former Basingstoke RFC director of rugby, James Croker, was part of the England team which made it two wins out of two in their World Cup campaign in Paris, after a 45-4 win over Spain.
Flanker Marlie Packer scored two of England’s six tries, which Emily Scarratt kicked 15 points.
The other scores for the Red Roses came from wingers Kay Wilson and Claire Allan, full back Danielle Waterman and substitute Laura Keates.
England complete their Pool A games with a winner takes all clash against Canada on Saturday (kick-off 2.45pm).
The victors will be guaranteed a place in Wednesday’s semi-finals, plus the best second placed team.
