On a recent pleasure trip to Stacey’s New Barlows Lake, I fished paste at 11 metres on peg nine, and caught 27 bream, 11 carp and four tench in just over six hours.

The best pleasure day I’ve had for many years. Next time I get a free day I’ll go back for more.

Catch me next week.
