BLUEWAVE Korean Martial Arts’ Neo Botha was invited to join the Great Britain national cadet squad after attending Southern Region Poomsae training.

She was one of several members of the club to attend the event run by Master Derek Sumner, Great Britain’s cadet (ages 11-14) national coach.

This was an opportunity to train with and learn from some of the top poomsae coaches and competitors in the country, both in regular solo poomsae, but also while working in teams. Participating in sessions like this helps the club’s students to significantly improve on their performances and provides them with the skills and standards needed to compete in Poomsae competitions at the highest level.

After the training course, Botha was selected to join the GB squad, which is a fabulous opportunity for her and an honour for the Bluewave Korean Martial Arcts Club.
