Have you had your head in the Sand since January this year? If you have I'll update you regarding Southampton Players. I would like to inform you that Rickie Lambert who is a fantastic Player was transferred to Liverpool for £5million possibly as bait for others to join him, in Football he could be in his twilight years but for Rickie it was a dream come true, he's been very honest and got his wish that he's had since a child to play for Liverpool and for that he has the Southampton Supporters best wishes and he will be missed, Adam Lallana was seduced possibly with more money and help from his Agent and Steven Gerrard who could of had instructions from Brendan Rodgers this we'll never know, he too wanted to leave his excuse he wanted CLF so he didn't want to play for Southampton again, he's probably increased his Salary by 2/3rds and sold for a very good fee of £26million, Luke Shaw was also seduced with the thought of increasing his monthly Salary by 4/5th he was sold for £27million and did not want to play for Southampton FC again, Dejan Lovren has now been sold for £20 million, he made it very obvious by saying the song of Gerry Marsden singing gave him goose bumps and his head was already in Liverpool, goodness knows where the rest of his body was, he too had no intentions of wanting to stay and play for Southampton FC.

Imagine your are Les Reed and you probably knew these Players wanted to leave early this year and you've had to sit down with these definitely want away don't want to play for Southampton again Players how would you handle this problem, would you lock them in a room or Barn until they scream ok I'll stay and play for Southampton I'm sorry I won't complain again ? They did not want to stay and play for Southampton ever again is that clear to you because it is to thousands of the Supporters? Not one Supporter wanted any of these Players to leave, it's been a horrible few months, the Team was the best it's ever been and the thought of progress continuing on next season was even more exciting but they were being Coached by a very dishonest man Potchettino not that any of us suspected this, IMO he Coached and Managed this year under total false pretences, it's fair to say he introduced a style of play that had admiration from Football Fans all over the world but this year he proved to be disloyal and a liar, his head wasn't in Southampton it was to a rival Premiership Club and it also coincided with the exodus of Players, did he have an influence and encouraged the Players to leave Southampton? We all hope it's the end of Players leaving but it possibly hasn't stopped yet, Morgan Schneiderlin and the very latest news Callum Chambers could be going to Arsenal another horrible moment for the Supporters, Les Reed has been castigated this year but IOM he would tread over hot coals to keep all these Players at Southampton but the Players know the way to manipulate the Club and disrespect and ignore any contract they sign.

Les Reed has a thankless task and IMO knew the Players wanted out but could not reveal the truth he instead has to be diplomatic to all the Supporters he has to choose his words, he probably would love to be transparent but it's not always wise as it could cause disruption to soon to a Club who's Players are playing the best the have ever played and there valuation could drop dramatically when hell breaks out.
The essence of this post is don't blame Les and the Board blame the Players who wanted out because a seed was sown possibly by Potchettino and they were all motivated by him and loyalty is just a word but money money money has a desired affect.
Now is the time to be positive and move on and give 100% support love and trust to Southampton Football Club The Saints."

Liverpool have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £20m for Saints defender Dejan Lovren.

The Croatian centre half has long been angling for a move to Anfield, after the Premier League runner-ups' interest in him was revealed.

At one point, he even threatened to not return to Staplewood following the World Cup in a bid to force through the move to Liverpool.

Manger Ronald Koeman said last week that he was prepared to let Lovren go if the Reds met Saints' asking price, as he did not want players at Southampton who did not want to be there.

He will be the third Southampton player to swap the South Coast for the North West this summer, following in the footsteps of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.

In total, Liverpool have paid Saints around £49m for the three players, which is half of the total outlay Brendan Rodgers has put on seven new signings.

Lovren joined Saints from French side Lyon for a fee of £8.5m last summer.

It is understood he will undergo a medical tomorrow before finalising the move.
