All that has come out of SFC is lies..lies..and more lies...Poch happy with club and ongoing talks..preparing for next season and players are leaving...We are not a selling club...all money from sales will be reinvested back in the 1st team...Lovern is going nowhere..Lallana is not leaving....Luke Shaw is not leaving...oh and there are 22 backroom staff constantly looking at new players and their any players that have come or rumoured to come are all through what are those so called 22 staff really doing..nothing that I can see...there wont be a what is this then...LIES...LIES..

and more can we ever trust the SFC board...I dont thats for sure.
saint Gaz45, I agree so much with your points. I do not want anyone in our team whose "big head" is in Anfield or wherever.

I may be ahead of the club's game in that players may be coming soon, bl**dy need to! but just about everything the Board has said has proved not to be true. No a selling club, my ar*e!! Why are they treating us very obvious Saints' fans, (and for me since 1959), like this.

Why did they not say when MP went, right the club is going to change, so hang on to your seats.

Because that is what has happened. I do hope tonight's game is not a rehearsal for the coach driver to find his way to Bournemouth next year.

The next 2 weeks are crucial as to what will happen this season. What other team has EVER lost half its team, with perhaps another to go in Spider, within 10 weeks of achieving 8th position and the best ever performance in the PL. If it was a book, no one would believe it!!"

Liverpool have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £20m for Saints defender Dejan Lovren.

The Croatian centre half has long been angling for a move to Anfield, after the Premier League runner-ups' interest in him was revealed.

At one point, he even threatened to not return to Staplewood following the World Cup in a bid to force through the move to Liverpool.

Manger Ronald Koeman said last week that he was prepared to let Lovren go if the Reds met Saints' asking price, as he did not want players at Southampton who did not want to be there.

He will be the third Southampton player to swap the South Coast for the North West this summer, following in the footsteps of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.

In total, Liverpool have paid Saints around £49m for the three players, which is half of the total outlay Brendan Rodgers has put on seven new signings.

Lovren joined Saints from French side Lyon for a fee of £8.5m last summer.

It is understood he will undergo a medical tomorrow before finalising the move.
