Join me again on Tuesday, when Newport County visit the Soccer AM Stadium!
After a slow first half, Town did well after the break, with Macklin especially impressive. Argent took his goal well too. Plenty to think about.
Reaction to follow.
Hungerford Town 1-3 Basingstoke Town
90 - Nditi is outrageously skillful, beating one player twice. He's then hacked down. Possibly a sign of things to come if he carries on trying tricks.
88 - Good play from Flood, but his shot creeps wide of the post.
85 - That's an excellent challenge from Hollamby. Looked like a clear chance before he made a brave block.
The game is dying a bit of a death now. Been impressed by Town in the second half though.
76 - Hungerford Town 1-3 Basingstoke Town - Sam Argent
That's another nice goal. Macklin is involved twice in a really positive attack, the second time crossing for SAM ARGENT to power a header in at the far post.
These strikers are giving Bristow something to think about.
75 - The ball drops to Aaron Brown in the Town box, but Smart makes a good block.
70 - Mark Draycott finds space for a shot from about 25 yards. Not far wide.
65 - That's a fine save from Moore to deny Harry Goodyer an equaliser.
62 - Hungerford Town 1-2 Basingstoke Town - Lloyd Macklin
That's a sweet finish. LLOYD MACKLIN controls a pass that I'm not sure was meant for him on his thigh before finding the bottom corner with a powerful shot.
61 - Hungerford make a triple change.
58 - Basingstoke Town - Sam Argent, Josh Drew and Junior Strassa on for Julian Owusu, Simon Dunn and Andrew Jenkinson.
55 - That's a fine ball fro Nditi. Owusu could be in but his chest control lets him down.
51 - PENALTY MISSED
Jenkinson steps up to take the kick, but he drags it wide of the right-hand post.
50 - Basingstoke Town - Macklin is brought down by James Rushbury on the left side of the area and the referee points to the spot.
49 - Dunn is back on, and we're back under way.
47 - Dunn releases Nditi in the area, but there's nobody on hand to get on the end of his low cross. Dunn was caught late there too, and he's getting some treatment.
45 - Basingstoke Town - Lloyd Macklin, Adam Nditi and Shane Hollamby on for Liam Enver-Marum, Tom Bird and Kieran Maylen.
Hungerford get the second half under way.
Looks like we will see a few changes at the break, with some of the triallists given a chance to show what they can do.
Not a particularly good first-half display from Town. A bit off the pace, while Hungerford played some sharp stuff and deserved their goal.
Hungerford Town 1-1 Basingstoke Town
44 - A break in play after Smart is caught late, but he's okay to continue.
40 - Basingstoke Town - Chris Flood on for Manny Williams
Williams must have a knock and Flood, who signed on Tuesday, comes on in his place.
39 - Hungerford Town 1-1 Basingstoke Town - James Clark
That's a really nice goal, and no more than the hosts deserve.
Parson plays JAMES CLARK through after a quick attack and the striker gives Moore no chance with a powerful finish.
38 - Bird is released down the left, but his low cross is cut out before Enver-Marum can get on the end of it.
36 - Hungerford attack down the left, but Dean Stowe's shot is sliced out for a throw.
34 - Enver-Marum has a dip from a long-range free-kick. Another ball on the clubhouse roof.
33 - Another good Hungerford move, but it ends with a weak shot from Smith. They are playing some nice stuff. Look a good side.
29 - Jenkinson gives away a free-kick on the edge of the area and Josh Parsons has a shot, forcing Moore into a decent save.
28 - Town switch off for a throw and Ian Herring has time to shoot from range. Wide, but Town aren't playing very well here.
26 - Hungerford have been on top since the goal and James Rusbury fizzes the ball across the face of goal.
24 - Another chance for Smith, but he fires over from the edge of the area. A decent opening.
21 - Hungerford Town 0-1 Basingstoke Town - Manny Williams
That's a nice goal. Smart's ball down the right finds Owusu and he does well to beat his man before pulling the ball back for MANNY WILLIAMS on the penalty spot.
He has time to take a touch and pick his spot, finding the top corner.
18 - McAuley's cross forces the first corner of the match. It's taken short to Bird but drops kindly for Dunn when he misses his kick.
His effort is well blocked, but the ball breaks for Enver-Marum, and that's a fine save to deny him.
17 - McAuley lets fly from distance, but that's onto the clubhouse roof.
16 - That's a decent cross from the Hungerford right, but Bird does enough at the far post to put the striker off.
14 - Owusu wins the ball high up the pitch, but his shot is blocked.
12 - Smart wins a 50-50 challenge against the home left-back, but his ball across goal is a poor one and cut out.
10 - Lee Smith shoots from distance. That's the first mistake Stuart Moore has made, the ball slipping though his hands, but he responds well to claim the loose ball.
9 - A simple one-two from a throw has Town in trouble, but Rice is on hand to clear the low ball in.
8 - The home goalkeeper flaps at a Bird free-kick into the box, but his defence clear the danger.
5 - Good play from Smart to get Williams in the hole between the home defence and midfield, but he cannot make the most of the opportunity.
4 - Hungerford have started at a frantic pace, pressing Town high up the park. Making it hard for the visitors to get their passing going.
3 - A long throw almost has Hungerford in, but Rice gets his head in to deal with the problem.
2 - The ground is really hard. The ball bobbled horribly in front of Jenkinson there.
Town get the game under way. They are shooting down the pronounced slope in the first half.
Here come the teams. In dribs and drabs.
For all you golf fans out there, Justin Rose ended day one of the Open on level par after an opening round of 72. He's six shots behind leader Rory McIlroy.
Town have gone back into the changing rooms to make their final preparations.
There's a bit of a pattern developing with the team selections.
It's been a midfield diamond for all four games. Nathan Smart, Tom Bird and Robbie Rice have started every game they have been available, as have Andrew Jenkinson, Simon Dunn and Manny Williams in midfield, but Soares and McAuley have yet to play together.
In attack, Enver-Marum has been partnered by a different player in most games, suggesting Town are looking for a foil. It's Owusu's turn tonight.
Basingstoke Town: Moore, Smart, Bird, Jenkinson, Rice, Maylen, Dunn, McAuley, Enver-Marum, Owusu, Williams. Subs: Hollamby, Flood, Drew, Argent, Macklin, Nditi, Strassa.
Three changes to the team that started against Reading on Tuesday. Kieran Maylen, Shaun McAuley and Julian Owusu come in for Romeo Agebane, Louie Soares and Sam Argent.
Argent drops to the bench, but Agebane isn't here. Soares joins Jay Gasson on the injury list.
Ryan Scott isn't here again, but I'm informed that is due to work commitments rather than something else.
Hungerford only just missed out on the play-offs in the Southern Premier League last year. Could be a good test for Town.
It's a sunny, warm evening in Hungerford. The signal's not so good though, may be a bit in and out. Keep your fingers crossed.
Good evening and welcome to live text commentary from Basingstoke Town's pre-season trip to Hungerford Town.
