SWIMMER Morris Dick returned from the Masters Championships at Swansea with a magnificent seven medals.
The 72-year-old from Ellington Drive was swimming in the 70-74 category and opened up with a silver medal in the 50m breaststroke in a new personal best of 44.62sec.
He followed up with two more silver medals, completing the 200m breaststroke in 3min 42.33sec and the 100m breaststroke in 1:42.03.
He also won three golds and one silver in relays as part of Putney’s Spencer team.
His first win came in the 280 years mixed 4x50m medley.
Dick then enjoyed success in the 240 years men’s 4x100m medley, where the team were just three seconds away from the British record.
His third and final gold came in the men’s 4x50m medley, where the team again just missed the British record.
Dick added another silver to his medal tally as part of the mixed 4x100m medley relay team.
