NEW Inn have decided to pull their team out of the Basingstoke and District Saturday League Premier Division.
This is because no-one wanted to take over from secretary Craig Flockton and manager Gary Stockwell has moved to Fleet Town.
Under the name of FC Censo, the club won the Premier Division seven times as well as the Basingstoke A Cup eight times. They also won the North Hants Intermediate Cup and Hampshire A Cup several times.
Several of their players have signed for newly-formed Rising Sun, which was formerly Popley FC.
Skewers, promoted from Division One, have changed their name to FC Everest. This means the Premier Division will run with eight clubs.
Division One will also run with eight teams after Welly Old Boys pulled out their reserve side.
However, Division Two is up to 11 teams after Basingstoke United joined.
