SAINTS are again being linked with Celtic's England goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

The Daily Echo revealed last month that new boss Ronald Koeman is eager to bring in a new shot-stopper to replace Artur Boruc.

And Saints are hoping that the presence of new goalleeping coach Dave Watson, who has worked with Forster during his time with the England senior squad, will help attract the 26-year-old to St Mary's, according to the Daily Mirror.

Forster is rated at around £8m, while Celtic brought in ex-Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon earlier this week to potentially guard against Forster's departure.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail is linking Saints with a move for Sunderland striker Connor Wickham.

The paper says that Premier League newboys Leicester are also interested in a £6m deal for the 21-year-old.

Meanwhile, The Times write that Arsenal and Spurs have cooled their interest in Morgan Schneiderlin, after Saints asked for in excess of £20m for the midfielder.

The Times also report that Galatasaray is a possible destination for wantaway Saints striker Dani Osvaldo.
