ADAM Robinson hit a century as Oakley maintained their 100 per cent record to stay top of Hampshire Cricket League Regional Division One North.

Robinson made 141 and enjoyed a partnership of 234 with Julian Worthington (88) as Oakley reached 284-5 against Over Wallop. Clive Welsman then took three wickets as the visitors were restricted to just 90-5, giving Oakley a 194-run win.

Basingstoke and North Hants IV won their local derby against visiting Herriard. Leon Nurse hit 57 of Basingstoke’s 227-4, while Herriard were restricted to 184-9 in reply, losing by 43 runs.

Old Basing II managed to defend their all-out total of 121 against Shrewton II, bowling their hosts out for 107 to win by 14 runs.

Kingsclere lost by 94 runs at Winterbourne, being bowled out for 78 chasing 197-7, while Ashford Hill went down by 135 runs to visiting Longparish. The away team made 279-7 and while Ashford Hill’s target was reduced to 271, they could only muster 136-7.

Robert Walsh-Smith made 69, but he could not prevent Odiham and Greywell losing by 49 runs at home to Littleton and West Hill II. The visitors made 231-4 and despite Walsh-Smith’s efforts, Odiham could only reach 182-9.

Ramsdell and Sherfield-on-Loddon both saw their games abandoned due to wet weather.

Odiham and Greywell II claimed a narrow two-wicket victory at Stockbridge in Division Two North. The hosts made 154-7 and Odiham snuck home with eight wickets down, Scott McGaughrin making 53.

Rotherwick ITW and St Mary’s both lost by two wickets on the road. Jon Wheeler made 52, but Rotherwick could only muster 155-9 away at East Woodhay II and were only able to take eight wickets in the home side’s reply.

St Mary’s were unable to defend their all-out total of 110 at Liphook and Ripsley III. Ian Bentley took 4-26, but Liphook got home with eight wickets down.

The Division Three North game between third-placed Old Basing III and bottom side Herriard went to form. Arjun Miniyala made 72 and Sid Sengupta 51 as visiting Old Basing reached 200-5, before bowling the hosts out for 102, with Vibhav Teneja taking 4-20 and Amol Jadhav 3-15.

Jake Fincken took 5-25 as Basingstoke and North Hants V bowled visiting Otterbourne out for 56, but they only just won, scraping home with one wicket to spare.

Hook and Newnham Basics IV beat visiting Overton II by six wickets. Tony Glass made 65 as Overton reached 185-7, while Jack Robson reached 64 and Nick Harding 62 as the hosts reached their reduced target of 163 with four wickets down.

Ramsdell II lost by 121 runs at home to Aldershot IV. Lance Morley took 3-19 as Aldershot reached 168-7, but the hosts were skittled out for just 47.

Hartley Wintney III, Overton III and Silchester all saw their games washed out.

Just one game survived in Division Four North East. Crown Taverners II reached 171-6 against Whitchuch and, while Damien Hack hit 106, the visitors were bowled out for 159.
