- Winchester City 2-2 Basingstoke Town

- Chris Flood doubles the lead early in the second half
- Reece Rusher and Warren Bentley score late on to earn a draw
That's all for tonight. Join me again on Saturday, when Town host Yeovil at the Camrose.
A post-match interview with Basingstoke Town manager Jason Bristow can been by clicking here.
A good workout for Town. They'll be disappointed to concede two late goals, but there were some decent displays from the triallists and the signed players did well in the first half.
Reaction to follow.

Pleased that overall this seems like a good workout for the lads and maybe Jason might speak to 1 or 2 players for advanced talks

Winchester City 2-2 Basingstoke Town
90 - Winchester City 2-2 Basingstoke Town - Warren Bentley
A nice move from Winchester results in WARREN BENTLEY firing home an angled drive.
84 - That could have been 2-2. A cross comes in from the right and Daryl Phillips heads badly wide despite being totally unmarked.
81 - Winchester City 1-2 Basingstoke Town - Reece Rusher
The ball breaks to REECE RUSHER in the area and he finds the far corner.
79 - Town are down to 10 men. Shane Hollomby has gone off with a knock.
Been struggling with signal issues. Few chances while I was away.
Oualah made one save, but it was fairly regulation. At the other end, McAuley curled a shot wide and Macklin was denied by the goalkeeper after a nice through-ball.
68 - Basingstoke Town - Julian Owusu on for Louie Soares
68 - Good play puts Macklin through and he stings the palms of the goalkeeper.
65 - Flood breaks down the left, forcing a save out of the goalkeeper.
Winchester have made a couple of changes, but Town are in total control. Before he had his big chance, Soares fired narrowly wide from the edge of the area.
62 - That should be a third goal. Soares gets on the end of a through-ball and beats the goalkeeper, but with plenty of time, he curls the ball well wide.
52 - Winchester City 0-2 Basingstoke Town - Chris Flood
CHRIS FLOOD also used to play here at Winchester, and he marks his return with a goal, heading home Soares' cross.
Here's what I know about the players who have come on.
Josh Drew is a product of the Town academy, while Chris Flood used to play for Eastleigh.
Shaun McAuley gets in behind the Winchester defence, but the goalkeeper is out quickly to make a block.
It's raining quite heavily now. Glad I decamped to the stand at half-time.
SECOND HALF TEAM
Oualah; Smart, Agebane, Hollomby, Camancho; McAuley, Soares, Maylen, Drew; Macklin, Flood.
Basingstoke get the second half under way.
Winchester City 0-1 Basingstoke Town
45 - Winchester City 0-1 Basingstoke Town (Enver-Marum)
Another nice move and the ball breaks to LIAM ENVER-MARUM about 12 yards out. He makes no mistake, firing into the roof of the net.
42 - Nice touch from Williams to release Soares down the right, but he can't finish from a narrow angle.
40 - Great run from Simon Dunn, who seems to be brought down in the box. Not according to the referee though.
38 - Good work from Smart down the right and his cross finds Argent at the back post. He really hangs in the air and gets a header on goal, but it lacks power.
38 - Nathan Smart fires a shot from distance well over the crossbar.
37 - Great run down the left from Soares, beating two men in the area. His pull-back takes the goalkeeper out of play, but the ball doesn't find an attacker.
36 - Good break from Town, but the defence just manages to crowd Argent out.
35 - Camacho is fouled and Louie Soares' ball in is met by Gasson. He heads straight into the ground and the Winchester goalkeeper is untroubled.
32 - Argent gets up to head at goal, but his effort lacks power and is cleared away.
31 - More good work down the Winchester right leads to a corner, but it comes to nothing.
Town look like they are sticking with the passing philosophy Jason Bristow introduced last season. They are pinging it around nicely, making good angles for each other.
24 - Winchester's right winger gets in down behind the defence, but Oualah closes down the angle and Town clear.
22 - That's a big clearance from Gasson. The ball flies out of the ground and hits a car. Hope it wasn't mine.
21 - Winchester win another corner. It's headed back across goal at the far post and Luke Dempsey, up from the back, rattles the crossbar with a powerful volley from close range.

I'm a little confused on the lineup how many 1st team players are in the 1st half lineup?
I hope Jason has got a notebook tonight Sam Argent is a player worth signing going by his performances for Hartley Witney last season
Only three unknown quantities in the starting 11, including Argent. He's made a decent start, working very hard.
Spaniard Camancho seems to be very right-footed for a left-back. Pre-season problems.
10 - Winchester win their first corner. Robbie Rice heads it away but Winchester recycle it and a low cross from the left almost leads to an own-goal.
7 - The grass is a bit long, but Town are passing the ball around nicely.
They force the first corner, with Jay Gasson's header cleared from inside the six-yard box, while Enver-Marum fires wide from the edge of the area.
Not sure about that any more. Argent and Enver-Marum seem to be up top, with a really fluid midfield.
Looks like it's a 4-3-3 formation, with Manny Williams and Argent either side of Liam Enver-Marum.
Winchester get the game under way.
Here come the teams. By the sounds of it, we'll have a different Town side in each half.
Shane Hollomby, another Hartley player, is among the substitutes.
BASINGSTOKE TOWN TEAM
Oualah, Smart, Camacho, Jenkinson, Gasson, Rice, Dunn, Soares, Enver-Marum, Argent, Williams.
Subs: McAuley, Maylen - and a lot of triallists. I'm sitting by the bench and will endeavour to get as many names as possible when they all come on.
There are a couple of curve-balls thrown into the starting 11, but it's mainly the senior players.
Most interesting is Sam Argent, who has been scoring for fun playing for Hartley Wintney the last couple of seasons.
Spaniard Borj Camacho starts at left-back and Zaki Oualah, who has been with the squad in the past, starts in goal.
In addition to the 11 signed players, I do recognise a few old faces. Marcus Johnson-Schuster, Alex Charlick and Kieran Maylen are all here, but the others, including three goalkeepers, are a mystery.
Good evening and welcome to live text commentary from the Denplan Stadium, where Basingstoke Town are taking on Winchester City in their opening pre-season friendly.
