FORMER Basingstoke Town skipper Wes Daly will not have to wait long to return to the Camrose as his new side, Hemel Hempstead Town, will travel to Basingstoke on the opening day of the 2014-15 season.

The Conference South fixtures have just been released, and Town will host newly-promoted Hemel Hempstead on the first matchday, August 9.

Their opening away game is a trip to Bath City three days later, while they face Hayes and Yeading United and Farnborough over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Tuesday, October 7 is a date for the diary as it is the day that Town legend Sergio Torres will return to the Camrose for the first time as an opposition player, having signed for Whitehawk.

Staines Town will be Town's main opponents over the Christmas period, with the Swans travelling to the Camrose on Boxing Day and Basingstoke travelling up the M3 for the return match on New Year's Day. In between, Town travel to Ebbsfleet United on December 28.

There's a strange anomely in early January, with Basingstoke scheduled to play Eastbourne Borough home and away on successive weekends, a pattern not repeated elsewhere in the league.

Hayes and Farnborough will again provide the opposition over Easter, while Town's final home game will see Hampshire rivals Havant and Waterlooville visit the Camrose. The season will end with a trip to Weston-super-Mare on April 25.
